His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Madinah Region, chaired the first meeting of the members of the Board of Trustees of the King Abdulaziz Complex for Endowment Libraries for the year 1443 AH. During the meeting, approval was made for the establishment of the Digitization and Cataloging Center, which is concerned with digitizing and indexing the manuscripts, rare books and valuable collectibles contained in the complex, according to the approved standards, as well as the establishment of the Center for Restoration, Sterilization and Binding, which is concerned with preserving manuscripts, historical documents and rare books.
